Blackberry dumplings
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- flour - 1 c
- water - 1 c
- blackberries or raspberries - 1 qt
- juice from the berries - 1/2 3/4
How to make blackberry dumplings:
Place the berries, sugar and water in a 4-quart saucepan; bring to a boil. Dip off 1/2 cup juice. Add enough water to make 3/4 cup. Mix flour and juice to make a soft dough. Drop by teaspoon into boiling berries. Cook until dough is done in the center. Serve with cream or Cool Whip.Recipe categories: Desserts, Sauces, Condiments, etc..
