- milk - 1 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter
- water - 3/4 c
- baking powder
- egg - 1 item
- ripe blackberries - 3 pt
- Bring blackberry mixture to boil
How to make blackberry dumplings:
Combine ripe blackberries, water, sugar, and butter in large saucepan. Bring blackberry mixture to boil. Add dumplings a spoonful at a time into boiling mixture. Cover lid, reduce heat slightly to prevent sticking, and cook covered for about 15 to 20 minutes.Dumplings:2 c. flour3 Tbsp. sugar1 tsp. salt1 egg3 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder milk Sift the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder into mixing bowl.
