Ingredients/Components
- water - 2 qt
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 1 c
- clove garlic - 1 item
- medium onions - 2 item
- green pepper - 1 item
- black beans - 1 pkg
- bouillon cubes - 4 item
- piece ham - 1/2 lb
- piece lean pork - 1/2 lb
How to make black bean soup:
Wash and clean beans and soak overnight. Drain and add water, bouillon cubes, ham and pork. Heat pepper, onions, celery and garlic in 2 tablespoons butter. Add to soup and cook approximately 4 hours. Add lemon juice and parsley.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Beans, Black beans.
