Ingredients/Components
- chicken broth - 2 c
- salt to taste - 1 item
- small onion, diced - 1 item
- slices bacon - 4 item
- bell pepper, diced - 1/2 item
- ham, diced - 4 oz
- olive oil, if desired - 1 item
- cans black beans, mashed - 2 oz
How to make black bean soup:
Saute bacon; remove to paper towel. Saute onion and bell pepper in bacon drippings or olive oil, if preferred. When nearly done, break up and add bacon.
