Biscuit topped italian casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- water - 3/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- shredded Mozzarella cheese - 2 c
- dried oregano leaves, crushed - 1/2 tsp
- can Hungry Jack refrigerated buttermilk biscuits - 1 oz
How to make biscuit topped italian casserole:
Heat oven to 375°. Brown ground beef and onions (drained). Stir in water, pepper, tomato paste and tomato sauce. Remove from heat. Stir in vegetables and 1 1/2 cups cheese. Put biscuits on top separated, then sprinkle remaining cheese in center and around edge. Brush biscuits with butter.
