Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1/2 c
• flour - 2 c
• stick margarine - 1 item
• evaporated milk - 6 Tbsp
• water - 1 c
• oil - 3/4 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• cocoa - 3 Tbsp
• buttermilk - 1/2 c
• margarine - 1/2 c
• In a saucepan combine water, margarine and cocoa

How to make best chocolate cake:

Mix together flour, sugar and salt in a large bowl. In a saucepan combine water, margarine and cocoa. Heat until it boils. Pour over flour mixture and mix well. Add eggs and mix well. Add soda and vanilla to buttermilk. Add to batter. Pour into 11 x 16-inch pan. Bake for 40 minutes at 350°. Do not grease or flour pan. Ten minutes before cake is done, make the icing.Icing:1 box powdered sugar1 stick margarine3 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. evaporated milk1 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. chopped nuts Combine all ingredients, heat until well blended. Do not boil. Pour over cake immediately after you take it out of the oven.
