Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/4 c
- granulated sugar - 1/4 c
- packed brown sugar - 1/4 c
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- oats - 1/2 c
- blueberries or blackberries - 4 c
- butter, slightly softened - 1/2 c
How to make berry crisp:
Topping:1/2 c. flour1/2 c. oats1/2 c. packed brown sugar1/2 c. butter, slightly softened1/4 c. granulated sugar1/4 c. chopped pecans Preheat oven to 375°. Place berries in 9-inch square pan. Mix brown sugar, flour and cinnamon; toss lightly with fruit.Topping: Combine all ingredients, except butter and nuts. Cut in butter; add nuts (makes coarse crumbs). Sprinkle over berries. Bake 30 minutes or until bubbly around edge. Makes 8 servings; 285 calories each. Also good with apples or peaches.
