Ingredients/Components

  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • shredded Mozzarella cheese - 1 c
  • medium tomato, seeded and chopped - 1 item
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • thinly sliced basil leaves - 1 Tbsp
  • 10 inch tortillas - 4 item
  • oregano and salt - 1 tsp

How to make beef tortilla pizza:

Brown ground beef and onion in skillet over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in oregano and salt. Lightly brush tortillas with oil. Bake tortillas on 2 baking sheets in preheated 400° oven for 3 minutes. Spoon meat mixture evenly over top of each tortilla; top with an equal amount of tomato. Sprinkle with basil and cheeses. Return to oven; bake 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes 4 servings.
