- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 3/4 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- large onions - 2 item
- large can tomatoes - 1 item
- cut up beef stew, round, chuck - 3 lb
- carrots and potatoes as many as you like - 1 item
How to make beef roast:
Dissolve the sugar and flour in the tomato juice. Put meat and vegetables in casserole or covered baking dish. Pour tomatoes, flour and sugar over meat and cook covered for 5 hours at 250°.Recipe categories: American, Main dish, North american.
