  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 1/4 c
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • red wine vinegar - 1/2 c
  • olive oil - 3/4 c
  • grated lemon peel - 1 Tbsp
  • basil leaves for garnish - 1 item
  • basil leaves, cut into strips - 1/2 c

How to make basil chicken:

In a large plastic food bag, combine first 7 ingredients; add chicken. Close. Chill 2 to 3 hours. Preheat oven to 325°. Place chicken in single layer with marinade in roasting pan. Cover with foil. Bake 45 minutes. Remove foil. Bake 30 minutes o
