Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- butter - 2/3 c
- light corn syrup - 1/4 c
- brown sugar, packed - 1 c
- quick oats - 4 c
- chunky peanut butter - 1/4 c
- Add the peanut butter and vanilla
- chopped nuts unsalted peanuts, almonds or Macadamia - 1 c
How to make baseball bars:
Melt butter, brown sugar and corn syrup together. Add the peanut butter and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in the oats. Press mixture into an oiled 9 x 3-inch pan. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes. Spread with the hot topping. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Cool, then refrigerate. Let stand about 15 minutes before cutting into pieces.Topping:1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch pieces2/3 c. chunky peanut butter1 c. chopped nuts (unsalted peanuts, almonds or Macadamia) Mix the chocolate, butterscotch, peanut butter and nuts in a saucepan.
