Barbecued meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- evaporated milk - 1 can
- oatmeal - 1 c
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- catsup
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 3 lb
- cracker crumbs - 1 c
- liquid smoke - 1/2 tsp
- chili pepper - 2 tsp
How to make barbecued meatballs:
Sauce:2 c. catsup1 c. brown sugar1/2 tsp. liquid smoke1/2 tsp. garlic powder1/4 c. chopped onion To make meatballs, combine all ingredients (mixture will be soft) and shape into walnut size balls. Place meatballs in single layer on wax paper-lined cookie sheets. Freeze until solid. Store in freezer bags until ready to cook. Place frozen meatballs in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Pour sauce over them. (Combine ingredients for sauce, stir until sugar is dissolved.) Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Yields 80 meatballs.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
