- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/3 c
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- lemon - 1 item
- ketchup - 1 c
- large onion - 1 item
- ribs - 3 4
- dashes Tabasco - 2 item
How to make barbecue ribs:
Place ribs in shallow roasting pan, meaty side up. On each piece, place a slice of unpeeled lemon and a thin slice of onion. Roast in very hot oven at 425° to 450° about 30 minutes.Combine remaining ingredients; bring to a boil and pour over ribs. Continue baking in moderate oven (350°) until tender, about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Baste ribs with sauce every 15 minutes.
