Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • vinegar - 1/2 c
  • ground ginger - 3/4 tsp
  • garlic powder - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • soy sauce - 4 Tbsp
  • mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • dried onion flakes - 1 tsp
  • Heinz ketchup - 1 c
  • 10 to 12 country style ribs with or without bones - 1 pkg

How to make barbecue ribs:

Mix sauce ingredients in bowl. If too thick add vinegar; if too watery, add ketchup. Dip ribs in sauce and marinate overnight or all day. Place in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Bake, covered, at 325° for 1 hour. Uncover and bake for additional 15 to 25 minutes. If no sauce left, make 1/2 sauce recipe and spoon over ribs. When done, will look barbecued and thick with glaze.
