Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- butter or margarine - 5 Tbsp
- butter - 1/2 lb
- nuts - 1 item
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
- bananas - 1 item
- cherries - 1 item
- large size Cool Whip - 1 item
How to make banana split cake:
Combine the cracker crumbs and butter; put in the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan.Beat the sugar, 1/2 pound of butter, eggs and vanilla until fluffy. Spread over the crust. Let chill overnight until set, then slice bananas over that. Add well drained pineapple over bananas, then Cool Whip over pineapple. Top with ground nuts and cherries or any fresh fruit in season.
