Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- can Eagle Brand milk - 1/2 item
- chocolate cake mix, mixed according to directions - 1 pkg
How to make turtle cake:
Divide cake mix in half; to one half of the cake mix, add 1/2 cup melted butter and 1/2 can of milk. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.While cake is baking, melt the caramels with 1/2 cup of butter. After melted, add 1/2 can of milk and nuts. Pour over baked cake and pour other half of cake batter on top. Bake 25 minutes at 350°.
