Banana split cake
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 item
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- large container Cool Whip - 1 item
- crushed graham crackers - 2 c
- margarine, melted - 2/3 c
- large bananas - 3 item
- can crushed pineapple, well drained - 1 oz
- cherries - 1 item
- sticks margarine, softened - 2 item
How to make banana split cake:
First Layer: Mix the crushed graham crackers and 2/3 cup of melted margarine well. Press in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.Second Layer: Mix the 2 sticks of softened margarine, powdered sugar, eggs and vanilla. Beat until firm then spread over graham crust.
Third Layer: Slice bananas and dip in pineapple juice. Place over Second Layer.
Fourth Layer: Spread the can of well drained crushed pineapple over.
Fifth Layer: Spread a topping of the Cool Whip.
Sixth Layer: Sprinkle chopped nuts and cherries on Cool Whip topping. Chill 6 to 8 hours.
