  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • mashed ripe bananas - 2 c

How to make banana sour cream cake:

Nut Mixture:1/4 c. sugar1/2 tsp. cinnamon1/2 c. chopped nuts Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, bananas and vanilla. Fold in sour cream. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Gently fold into creamed mixture; stir just to blend. Sprinkle half of nut mixture in bottom of a 6 1/2 cup ring mold. Spoon in half of batter. Sprinkle with remaining nut mixture and add the rest of the batter. Bake 30 minutes. Cover the top with foil and bake 15 minutes more or until cake tests done. Let stand on rack for 5 minutes. Remove from pan and cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Nut Mixture: Mix the nuts, sugar and cinnamon together.
