Banana nut cake
Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1/4 c
- sugar
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- mashed bananas - 1 c
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
How to make banana nut cake:
Beat butter until creamy. Beat in sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Stir in vanilla. Stir in flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Set aside 1/4 cup flour mixture. Add flour to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. Stir in mashed bananas and nuts with reserved flour to add to mixture and blend. Put in a 9 x 13-inch greased baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.From kitchen of Aunt Mamie Brown.
