  • butter, softened - 1/4 c
  • sugar
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • mashed bananas - 1 c
  • eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item

How to make banana nut cake:

Beat butter until creamy. Beat in sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Stir in vanilla. Stir in flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Set aside 1/4 cup flour mixture. Add flour to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. Stir in mashed bananas and nuts with reserved flour to add to mixture and blend. Put in a 9 x 13-inch greased baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
