  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • melted oleo - 1/2 c
  • bananas, mashed - 3 item

How to make banana nut bread:

Cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs, salt and vanilla. Add flour and soda. Then add bananas and nuts. Pour into two greased loaf pans. Bake at 300° for 1 hour or until done. Taught at Tinsman school 19 years.
