- soda - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- sifted flour - 2 c
- allspice - 1/8 tsp
- mashed banana - 2/3 c
- sour milk or buttermilk - 3 Tbsp
- shortening, softened - 1/4 c
