Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- bananas - 3 item
- salt optional - 1 item
How to make banana custard pie:
Beat eggs slightly; add sugar, salt, nutmeg and milk. Mash bananas; add custard mixture and lemon juice. Pour into pastry lined pie plate and bake in hot 450° oven for first 10 minutes until firm, then reduce heat to moderate 325° temperature for 35 minutes longer.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pies and tarts, Bananas.
