Banana brownies
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- cup sugar - 1/2 item
- cup milk - 1/4 item
- 1/4 cups flour - 1 item
- package 1 cup semisweet chocolate pieces - 1 item
- cup margarine, softened, divided - 1/2 item
- 1/2 cup well mashed ripe bananas 5 medium bananas - 1 item
How to make banana brownies:
Mix well: flour, salt, cinnamon, baking powder and soda; set aside. Place chocolate and 1/4 cup margarine on top of double boiler over hot water; stir until melted and smooth. Remove from heat; cool. In medium bowl, cream remaining 1/4 cup margarine and the sugar until light; beat in egg, milk and bananas. Stir in flour mixture until well blended. Stir in chocolate, leaving mixture slightly marbleized. Turn into greased 9 inch square pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 25-30 minutes. Cover and refrigerate leftovers.
