Banana bran muffins
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
- whole wheat flour - 1/2 c
- low-fat milk - 3 Tbsp
- slightly beaten egg - 1 item
- mashed ripe bananas - 3 item
- bran - 1/2 c
How to make banana bran muffins:
Preheat oven to 400°. Blend all ingredients thoroughly. Spoon batter into greased muffin tins until half full. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Yields 12 muffins.Exchanges per muffin: 1 bread and 1 fat.
