Ingredients/Components

  • water - 1/2 c
  • diced onion - 1 item
  • soy sauce - 4 Tbsp
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • diced celery - 1 c
  • can mushrooms - 1 item
  • peas - 1 c
  • raw rice - 1/2 c
  • beef, cubed small - 1 lb

How to make baked chop suey:

Use no salt.

Mix all ingredients together and put in 2-quart casserole with cover. Bake for 2 hours at 250°. Serve over chow mein noodles or mashed potatoes. Serves at least 8.
