Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 3 item
  • milk
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
  • Bisquick mix - 3/4 c
  • chopped fresh broccoli or cauliflower - 2 c

How to make garden vegetable pie:

Heat oven to 400°. Lightly grease a 10 x 1 1/2-inch pie plate. Cook broccoli or cauliflower in boiling water until almost tender, about 5 minutes; drain. (If frozen broccoli or cauliflower is used, do not cook.) Mix broccoli, onion, green pepper and cheese in pie plate. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth. Pour over vegetables. Bake until golden brown and knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
