Baked chicken breasts supreme
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 2 c
- salt - 4 tsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- shortening - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- paprika - 2 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 4 tsp
- bread crumbs
- celery salt - 4 tsp
- cloves garlic, chopped fine - 4 item
- whole chicken breasts or 12 split breasts - 6 item
How to make baked chicken breasts supreme:
Cut chicken breasts in half if using whole breasts. Wipe with damp paper towels. In large bowl, combine sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, celery salt, paprika, garlic, salt and pepper. Add chicken, coating each piece well. Let stand, covered, in refrigerator overnight.Next day: Preheat oven to 350°. Remove chicken from sour cream mixture. Roll in crumbs, coating evenly. Arrange in single layer in baking pan. Melt butter and shortening; spoon half over chicken. Bake chicken, uncovered, for 45 minutes. Add rest of butter; bake 10 to 15 minutes longer.
