Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- brown sugar - 1 c
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- popped popcorn - 3 4
- light Karo - 1/4 c
- peanuts or pecans optional - 1 item
How to make baked caramel corn:
Bring margarine, brown sugar, salt and Karo to a boil. Boil 5 minutes. Then add vanilla and soda. Stir well. Pour over popped popcorn; mix well. Peanuts or pecans are optional. Use a large oven pan and grease with butter. Pour popcorn mix in pan; bake at 275° for 20 to 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Lunch/snacks, Snacks.
