Baked caramel corn

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 1/2 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• stick margarine - 1 item
• brown sugar - 1 c
• soda - 1/4 tsp
• popped popcorn - 3 4
• light Karo - 1/4 c
• peanuts or pecans optional - 1 item

How to make baked caramel corn:

Bring margarine, brown sugar, salt and Karo to a boil. Boil 5 minutes. Then add vanilla and soda. Stir well. Pour over popped popcorn; mix well. Peanuts or pecans are optional. Use a large oven pan and grease with butter. Pour popcorn mix in pan; bake at 275° for 20 to 30 minutes.
