Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • lemon juice - 1/4 c
  • chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
  • ground beef
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
  • small onion, chopped - 1 item
  • dry bread crumbs - 1/4 c
  • instant beef bouillon - 1/2 tsp
  • slices thin sliced bacon, cut into halves - 6 item

How to make bacon-wrapped little loaves:

Heat oven to 350°. Mix all ingredients except bacon; shape mixture into 6 loaves. Crisscross 2 half slices bacon on each loaf. Tuck ends under loaf. Place loaves on a rack in a shallow baking pan; bake, uncovered, for 50 minutes. Serves 6.
