Bacon fried rice
Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/4 c
- beaten eggs - 2 item
- diced onion - 1/4 c
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- cooked rice - 1 c
- slices bacon, cut in half - 3 item
How to make bacon fried rice:
Fry bacon until crisp in skillet. Remove bacon to drain on paper towel. Stir-fry onion in pan with bacon drippings for 2 minutes. Add rice and stir-fry 7 minutes. Add soy sauce, water and crumbled bacon. On low heat, pour egg on top of rice mixture. Stir-fry for 3 minutes or until eggs are cooked. Makes 4 servings.Try adding a bag of thawed mixed vegetables with bacon for color and taste variations.
