Ingredients/Components

• cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/4 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1 c
• flour - 2 c
• brown sugar - 1 c
• nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
• soda - 1 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• oleo - 3/4 c

How to make bachelor buttons:

Cream oleo and sugar; add egg. Sift dry ingredients together; add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Chill 2 hours or overnight. Shape into balls and roll in granulated sugar. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 375°. Makes 3 dozen.
