chopped nuts - 1/2 c
flour - 2 c
butter - 3/4 c
coconut - 1/2 c
soda - 1 tsp
egg - 1 item
light brown sugar - 1 c
cherries, cut 16 oz - 1/2 c

How to make bachelor buttons:

Cream butter and sugar; add the egg and vanilla. Sift and add flour and baking soda; add chopped nuts, cherries and coconut. Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
