Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • baking powder
  • egg - 1 item
  • salad oil - 3 Tbsp
  • finely chopped nuts - 1 c
  • orange juice - 3/4 c
  • plus 1 tsp - 1 Tbsp
  • finely cut up dried apricots - 1 c

How to make apricot nut bread:

Heat oven to 350°. Grease and flour a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Measure all ingredients into large mixer bowl. Beat on medium speed 1/2 minute. Pour into pan. Bake 55 to 65 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean. Remove from pan. Cool thoroughly. (If self-rising flour is used, omit baking powder and salt.)
