Apricot jello salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- small tub of Cool Whip - 1 item
- or 4 bananas, sliced - 3 item
- small boxes apricot jello - 3 item
- can chunk pineapple, drain and save juice - 1 item
How to make apricot jello salad:
Dissolve jello according to package directions. Pour into an 8 x 10 pan. Chill until slightly thickened, add sliced bananas and pineapple chunks. Let set until firm.Mix together pineapple juice, sugar, butter, cornstarch, eggs and vanilla and cook until thickened. Add softened cream cheese and stir until melted. Cool. Add Cool Whip and mix well. Spread in a layer over jello.
