Applesauce raisin muffins
Ingredients/Components
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 3/4 tsp
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- large egg - 1 item
- raisins - 3/4 c
- unbleached white flour - 2 c
- nutmeg and cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- applesauce unsweetened
How to make applesauce raisin muffins:
Beat egg, oil and applesauce. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder and spices. Beat well. Stir in raisins. Spoon batter into oiled and floured muffin tins. Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes until firm and brown. Cool. Delicious topped with cream cheese.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
