Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- stick margarine - 1 item
- brown sugar - 1 c
- water - 1/2 c
- soda
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- Add eggs
- applesauce 16 oz
How to make applesauce cake:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Add applesauce and 1/2 cup water. Sift flour, soda, salt and cinnamon together. Add in shortening mixture and beat with electric mixer. Bake in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 30 minutes.Icing:1 stick butter1 c. brown sugar1/4 c. milk2 c. powdered sugar Heat butter and brown sugar; bring to boil. Add milk and bring to a boil.
