Applesauce bars

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour - 2 c
• butter
• nutmeg - 1 tsp
• soda - 1 tsp
• shortening - 1/2 c
• cloves - 1/2 tsp
• applesauce - 1 c
• Spread batter in well-greased shallow cookie sheet pan
• milk add until right consistency

How to make applesauce bars:

Mix all ingredients. Spread batter in well-greased shallow cookie sheet pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes in a 350° oven. Cool. Frost with icing. Cut into squares.Icing: approximately 1/2 bag powdered sugar approximately 3 Tbsp. butter approximately 2 Tbsp. milk (add until right consistency)1 tsp. cinnamon1/2 tsp. cloves1 tsp. nutmeg1 tsp. vanilla
