  • sugar
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 4 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • cocoa - 2 Tbsp
  • ginger - 1/2 tsp
  • raisins
  • cloves - 1/2 tsp
  • nutmeats
  • applesauce - 3 c

How to make applesauce cake:

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs. Add applesauce which has had soda added to it. Mix cocoa, raisins, nuts and spices together. Add to mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Bake in a tube pan for 2 to 2 1/2 hours in a 250° oven.
