Applesauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- water or apple juice - 1/3 c
- cinnamon if desired - 1 tsp
- raisins, soaked in hot water and drained - 1/2 c
- small apples, cored, peeled and cut up - 8 item
How to make applesauce:
Cook apples in water or juice until tender, about 30 minutes. Cool slightly and mash with fork. Add raisins, cinnamon and sugar. Makes about 4 cups. Can be stored in freezer.Recipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, American.
