Ingredients/Components
- large apples, peeled and sliced - 6 item
- flour - 1 c
- shortening - 1 Tbsp
- sugar - 4 Tbsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- cold water - 1/2 c
- cinnamon
- boiling water - 1 c
How to make apple pudding:
Topping:1 Tbsp. flour1 c. sugar1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon1 c. boiling water Slice apples, place in bottom of a 9 x 12-inch baking dish. Mix flour, shortening, sugar, baking powder and cold water; spread over apples.Topping: Mix ingredients, except boiling water, and spread over batter mixture. Pour the boiling water over top. Bake for 1 hour at 350°.
