  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour - 1 c
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • cloves - 1/8 tsp
  • chopped apples - 2 c

How to make apple pie cake:

In a 3-quart saucepan, melt margarine over medium heat. Remove from heat. Blend in sugar and egg. Add remaining ingredients and mix until blended. Turn into greased and floured 9 or 10-inch pie pan. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched. Serve warm or cold, cut into wedges, topped with whipped cream or ice cream.
