Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/3 c
- oleo - 1 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- grated lemon rind - 1/2 tsp
- almond flavoring - 1/2 tsp
- sliced peaches - 4 c
How to make fresh peach pie:
Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in pan; stir in water and peaches. Bring to boil and boil 1 minute, stirring gently. Remove from heat; stir in butter or oleo, lemon rind and juice and almond flavoring. Cool. Bake in 425° oven for 40 to 45 minuteRecipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
