Ingredients/Components
- flour
- butter - 1/2 c
- white sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon optional - 1 tsp
- water scant - 1/2 c
- to 8 cooking apples - 6 item
How to make apple crisp:
Peel slice and core apples. Put in a 7 x 10-inch baking dish. Mix water and cinnamon. Pour over apples. Work remaining ingredients together to make crumbs. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375° until light brown, about 1 hour. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Desserts, Apple, Cobblers and crisps.
