  • vegetable oil - 1 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • flour - 2 c
  • cinnamon
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • tart apples - 3 c
  • coarsely chopped nuts - 1 c

How to make apple cake:

Heat oven to 350° and flour 13 x 9-inch pan. Mix oil, sugar and eggs until blended. Beat 1 minute; stir in remaining ingredients except apples and nuts. Beat 1 minute. Stir in apples and nuts; pour into pan. Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 35 to 45 minutes.
