Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 item
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • baking powder - 3 tsp
  • Crisco oil - 1 c
  • orange juice - 1/4 c
  • 4-5 baking apples, sliced

How to make apple cake:

Beat all ingredients together (except apples). Place 1/2 of the batter into a greased tube pan. Arrange enough sliced apples to cover. Sprinkle with sugar & cinnamon to cover. Repeat same process for second layer ending with sugar & cinnamon. Bake at 325
