  • cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 2 Tbsp
  • milk - 1/4 c
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • stick butter - 3/4 item
  • self-rising flour - 3 c
  • light brown sugar - 1 c
  • chopped apples - 3 c
  • Wesson oil

How to make apple cake:

Sift dry ingredients; mix in oil. Add all remaining ingredients; blend well. Bake in greased floured pan at 325° for 45 minutes. While cake is hot, cover with the following combination which has been brought to a boil:
