• eggs - 2 item
• flour
• brown sugar - 1 c
• coconut - 1 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• melted butter - 1/3 c
• shortening - 1/2 c
• white sugar - 1 c
• sour milk - 1 c
• diced, peeled apples - 2 c
• Add eggs, milk, flour and soda

How to make apple cake:

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs, milk, flour and soda. Mix well. Add apples.Topping:2/3 c. brown sugar1 c. coconut1/3 c. melted butter Mix topping ingredients together; spread over cake before baking. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
