Apple butterscotch bread
Ingredients/Components
- granulated sugar - 3/4 c
- milk - 1/3 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- raisins - 1/2 c
- quick oats - 1 c
- applesauce - 1 c
- biscuit mix - 2 c
- butterscotch morsels - 1/2 c
- nuts, chopped your favorite type - 1/2 c
How to make apple butterscotch bread:
Stir together first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Add butterscotch morsels, raisins and nuts; mix well. Combine egg and milk in a separate bowl; 1 into mixture. Add applesauce and beat mixture vigorously by hand for 30 seconds. Pour into a large greased loaf pan (about 9 1/4 x 5 1/4 x 2 1/2-inch) and bake in a 350° oven for 50 to 60 minutes. Cool completely before slicing. Serve it for breakfast, dessert, snack or anytime!Ooh, it's so good!!
