Apple brownies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- sticks butter or margarine - 2 item
- medium apples, peeled and chopped fine - 4 item
- nuts, cut medium - 1 c
How to make apple brownies:
Cream the butter and sugar. Beat eggs until light and add to mixture. Add apples and nuts. Sift dry ingredients together and add to mixture. Pour into an approximate 10 x 13-inch size pan and bake at 350° for about 40 minutes. Cool in pan and cut into squares. Serve with Cool Whip or whipped cream.If using self-rising flour, omit the salt.
