Ingredients/Components
- baking soda - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- dark corn syrup - 1 c
- white sugar - 1 c
How to make angel food candy:
Combine sugar, syrup and vinegar in large saucepan. Cook until 300° on candy thermometer. Remove from heat and stir in 1 tablespoon baking soda. The reason you use a large pan is it foams up when you put in baking soda. Pour into buttered cake pan.
